Valbuena 5º 2019 — A dry winter, a short spring and a warm summer with cool nights. One of the most complete recent vintages: concentration, acidity and tannins in balance.
The great recent vintage of Ribera, and its depth shows. Deep garnet-purple. The nose combines concentration and freshness —cassis, blackberry, violet, graphite and noble spices— with outstanding definition. A palate of great balance: structure, fruit and acidity in perfect tension, polished tannins and a long, mineral finish. The most complete Valbuena of the lot; magnificent now and with a long life ahead.
