An outstanding, balanced vintage that gives a silky, complete Macán. Bright cherry-garnet. An elegant nose of ripe red and black fruit, violet, sweet spices and a mineral background. On the palate it is fine and fresh yet deep, with polished tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, elegant finish. One of the best recent vintages of the project; magnificent now and with years ahead.
Around 18 months in new French oak barrels, followed by bottle ageing.
Tempranillo 100%.
Red meats, small game, mushrooms, truffle and mature cheeses.
16–18 °C. Decant for 30–60 minutes.
